I craft stories that linger and move readers.

As a fifth generation Floridian, I am fascinated by tides of water, and those interior spaces in-between Atlantic sunrises and Gulf sunsets that make the Sunshine State a dynamic experience. I delight in discovery which ultimately becomes the foundation of an insightful article or a layered story.

My background in public affairs, government relations, and community engagement has given me the opportunity to be a part of collaborative efforts to advance Florida’s economic development initiatives, protect our state’s natural resources and foster long-term partnerships. My years spent in public relations has given me the instincts to anticipate the next steps in a story, a project, a campaign, or initiative. And when necessary, navigating the rough waters of the “unexpected” is a skill I’ve honed.

As an adjunct professor, I teach my expertise as a storyteller and help young writers develop their own authentic voice.  As a fiction writer, I craft original stories and delve into the interior lives of characters. As a professional writer, I’ve spent time in the company of entrepreneurs, creatives, and leaders who are building businesses and brands, shaping the missions of nonprofits and contributing to their communities. I’ve listened to them and have told their stories to a variety of audiences and media.

Now, it’s your turn.

Your story is unique and I’m excited to help you tell it.
